Need Help for NBA Label/Tagging 1990-1998

I'm checking a Knicks jersey out this morning(not buying yet)from a private seller. But before I do is there any member with a knowledge of NBA labels (specifically Knicks) from the period 1990-91 through 1997-98 seasons?
    Thanks,-Robert

The knicks wore a combination Sand Knit/Champion tag like all teams in '90, then switched to the standard dual tag champion system for 91-92 and wore it like this until 97-98 when they switched to starter. The starter tag should have a stamped extra length in gold on the actual starter tag on the front bottom of the shirt, with two small flag tags, one reading the year and the other for the size.

    Hope that helps.

Actually, there were THREE different tagging styles for 1990-91 Champion NBA jerseys. The setup cited above is one, a single Champion tag is the second, and a dual tagging with an exclusive/year tag unique in style to 1990 is the third. 1991-92, 1992-93 and 1993-94 exclusive/year tags were all unique in their own right, as well. 1994-95 through 1996-97 tagging looked similar each year.
