        nice collection.

since you have a extensive collection of mattingly bats i can see that even though the bats are of the same length, the center labels are not all equidistant from the knob. also the distance between the center label and the barrel stamp are not uniform either. this may be a stupid question but what other variable would make this occur? not to go off topic, but my observation that struck my curiosity.

if need be i will start a new thread to get the answer. i don't intend to high jack the thread but maybe this knowledge is important to mattingly or bat collectors as well.

          Jetefan,
WOW I must say I am jealous. That is a awesome display of Mattingly gamers! An a All-Star jersey, that would be a prize to all!!!

Chris, I have always admired that Mattingly bat of yours! Ill save up some cash and see if I can pick up one of my own.

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the items right now, but I have a '93 home uniform, 2 caps and a batting helmet.

                      Hi Scott,
                      Thanks.
                      It's me Pablo from FL.
The jersey I believe is size 42, the helmet is size 7 1/4 and the cleats are size 10.
                      Take care.
                      Pablo

Re: Let's see those Mattingly Items!

Here are my bats. The top one is on ebay (need to sell to finance my most recent Mauer purchase). The middle is my favorite and the most rare of Mattingly bats. Its the M1728 model that Donnie named after the birthdays of his older 2 sons. He was shocked to hear that any were out in the collecting world when I met him and talked about them in February 2008. He said they broke really easy because the barrel was designed too thin. Enjoy!!!

Since some of you greedy types are hogging all the game used bats of his, or at least driving the prices way high, this is the best I can do, an auto'd ball of his.
