Girlfriend gave me some early christmas gifts, She works in the doctors office that greg brings his kids. Greg wrote happy b-day on the jersey because the braves won the 1995 world series on my 8th b-day.

I love this ball Peter moylan was playing catch with Boone Logan in left field at the padres vs braves in san diego and peter threw it to me after the game i got him to sign it by the parking garage.

Here is my only Braves items....Jair Jurrjens game used bat and Jersey from 2008. I actually became friends with JJ when he played for the West Michigan Whitecaps....The low A affiliate for Detroit a few years ago. My buddy and I drove down to Cincinnati for their series against the Braves and he met up with us after the game on Saturday and gave us each bats over the Dugout before Sunday's game....

Great stuff Jason. I had forgotten that you had a Justice helmet, love that and the Lemke. The Rafael Ramierez brings back great memories of the Braves on TBS in the early 80's.

Is that a Lonnie Smith jersey under the Chipper helmet?

I'm going to try to get time to take a few pictures of my Gant Braves stuff today and put them on here.

Beautiful Gant jersey. Yep, that's the great Lonnie Smith's 1990 shirt. As special as all the post-1991 teams have been, my favorites will always be those many terrible ones that came before them. Lots of great memories watching Andres Thomas boot routine grounders and starting pitchers leave after 4 innings and manager after manager (Eddie Haas!) get the axe.

I saw so many of those guys come through Richmond that I feel the same way. I was excited by the Braves when they were winners, but my sentimental feelings are with those bad teams.

I sure will. The guy I bought it from at one point was selling tons of stuff, his collection probably. According to him he used to throw BP for the team. His name is Jim (don't remember his last name). I know several other people on GUU purchased from him and may remember it. I asked him what he remembered about the jersey. Here's his reply:

I am glad you like the shirt as it comes from a great player. I do remember when I got the shirt as it was at the end of the 90 season after the last road trip. I had thrown extra batting practice that day for Ron Gant and Jeff Treadway and went over to the players locker room to get something to eat and drink. I was kidding Ron about how he could not hit my fork ball. Lonnie was really getting on Ron and then he went over to his locker and took the shirt out and signed it and gave it to me saying I was the one that taught him to hit the fork ball. The Jeff went and got his jersey and bat and gave them to me. It started out joke on Ron with all the different players telling me how I helped them but Ron did not think I helped him. You had to be there as it was pretty funny. Lonnie was really great guy and had a couple of great batting years with the Braves.

When you are around big league ball players a lot, you will find they are really a big bunch of kids playing a game and having fun. Lots of jokes and ragging on each other.

I too am a big fan of the 95 Braves. Little story for ya...

Spring training 06 or 07, my buddy and I headed for Florida to catch a few ball games. Bought tickets to the Orioles/Red Sox for the sole purpose of getting Leo Mazzone's autograph. Before the game started i was standing by the fence on the first base line and could see Leo standing in front of the dugout. Not wanting to scare him off too soon, I waited for the right moment.

Soon he walked down the first base line and stopped right in front of me to watch the players play catch. With only the fence and a golf cart in between us, I knew this was my shot. I started shouting his name but he was trying to ignore me. I was desperate so I shouted "i love you Leo" and he was cracking up. He finally turned around and walked over and I told him what a big braves fan i am and how i thought he was the best pitching coach in baseball. yada yada yada we chatted back and forth and I was relieved that he signed my spring training program.

Thought I would share, as I think any TRUE Braves fan can appreciate Leo Mazzone. Anyone else chase around players from the 95 WS team to get auto's or anything else? I think a bat collection is pretty sweet and looks like you've got the hard ones out of the way (Justice, Klesko, Lopez, McGriff, Lemke, Chipper)

i have a belliard bat too, that and the lemke were the toughest to find. Id like to get a mark wholers bat although im sure thats next to impossible to find he was probably issued like 3. If anyone has any chipper game used stuff id love to see it

just arrived in the mail today! Set 2 1972 away "feather" jersey tagged "Kelley" with the button collar and cool stretchy Sand-Knit material. Number change from 36 to 46 as well.

After liquidating much of what I previously had and I just added this bat to make my decision harder....Jason Heyward Gamer cracked on an infield single in the 8th inning against the Mets 5/17...

Man that is one beautiful bat. There was an uncracked one on eBay that ended last weekend. It wasn't MLB authenticated but I was able to Photomatch it. I had an auction snipe in and thought I was going to win it and it jumped up an additional $300 in the final 10 seconds. That was probably my best chance of owning one.

My collection is 95% Braves related. Most of my other Braves items not pictured are all game-used jerseys, caps, autographed baseballs and two stadium seats from Fulton County Stadium (original wooden & plastic from the demolition). Currently my favorite piece is my 2003 Chipper Jones jersey that I finally got autographed last season at Spring Training.

Great Collection. I just started mine, but envy yours. Really like the minor helmets and have been researching how to get them as I would like one from each level.

Thanks for the kind words. Wish you had caught me a little earlier. Just sold the last of my Braves minor league helmets a few months ago. Another Braves collector (skipcarayislegend) and I made a major purchase of Braves minor league helmets directly from the Atlanta Braves after the 2009 season. We had helmets from each level. I kept one from each team and sold the rest. You might want to check with him to see if he still has any left, but I think they are all gone. Good luck with your Braves collecting.

Yes...that's the one I saw. I was curious about it since I don't remember seeing it offered on here or eBay before. It's not common to find nice jerseys like that only on Craigslist

I spoke to the seller over the phone , and he was willing to sell me the jersey by itself..although it ended up being a lil out of my price range..
I know what you mean about craigslist though ! it has become a haven for fake jerseys and questionable memorabilia !! that Murph jersey looks legit.

I got lucky and picked this up from the Potomac Nationals Booster club who picked it up in Spring Training.

I tweeted him a picture of it and he replied "That thing has seen a few games #Warrior"

This jersey was worn by Evan Gattis aka "El Oso Blanco" during his rehab assignment with the Gwinnett Braves July 12th-13th.

I wonder why 2013 kimbrell jerseys are 2k but 2012's are 500? Seems as if patience is the way to go. Also note the very high set numbers. No doubt for the sole purpose of selling. There is a set 24 chipper in Goldin auctions. Highest set number I've ever seen on a braves jersey. Its a cream colored jersey so what would it be one jersey per game for the cream colors?

I picked up Stars and Stripes hat on the last email. I wanted the Juan Francisco hat but I got beat to it. I checked the hologram number it came back as a Joeys Terdoslavich game used hat so I wanted to see if it really was or not. I ended up adding a Varvaro hat that should be in tomorrow. Off todays list I orded a Chipper Jones Retirement ball and a Civil Rights game used ball pitched to Chipper Jones. I may end up getting some other stuff now ive gotten a chance to look at the list. The prices on the Freeman bats were decent.
