What is the characteristic in both photos we are supposed to evaluate to see a match?

the folds in the letters of JAZZ match up perfect in my opinion, so that's what I want you guys to check out...

Yes, I guess good eye to see that similarity. I guess it does appear that the fold in the letter does match in the photos.

However, to me a photo match should provide no doubt that the items being compared are the same. That means there are either multiple characteristics that match or one very unique characteristic that truly leaves no doubt. So for something like a fold in a jersey from a logo, the question I always have is the characteristic consistently present on other items as well? Does the way the jerseys are sewn regularly produce a similar fold?
