    Al Leiter GU Mets bat

Greetings. It has been several years since I have actively collected game used bats. I was going through my collection and needed some help with an Al Leiter game used Mets bat. It is a Rawlings Big Stick with "456S WS/00" engraved on the knob. Can someone tell me what this means?

    Thanks in advance!

      Yep. That's a 2000 WS game bat.

If you ever want to part with it please let me know.

      Congrats!

Also interesting to note that the Rawlings stampings were not consistent that year (much like other years).

        I have in my collection

Rick Reed 2000 NLCS bat stamped 460B NLCS 2000
Mike Piazza 2000 NLCS bat stamped 609B NLCS (no year!)
        Edgardo Alfonzo 2000 ASG bat stamped 456B 2000 A/S

So it interested your Leiter is yet another variation with WS/00
