Did anyone purchase any of the game used things from the World Series that Steiner had to offer a week or so ago? I missed out on a Rivera game used I wanted. Had to think about the price and when I called back it was gone.

Re: Steiner 2009 World Series items
They don't come with a Steiner LOA only the MLB holograms. The match ups are confirmed by the MLB auth website.Comment

Re: Steiner 2009 World Series items
I guess I was out of the loop on this. I'm thinking of purchasing a game used item from the 2009 Inaugural Season at Yankee Stadium, is it better to pick up a 2009 World Series game used or a Derek Jeter signed game used 9/11/09 baseball when he broke Gehrig's streak?Comment

Re: Steiner 2009 World Series items
Got a phone call from a Steiner rep. I'm on the email list as well and I don't think they posted most of the items they were calling about. As far as whether it is better to get something from the Inaugural season or World Series I would take the series if I could afford it as it is much more unique. However the Series items are liable to be very expensive for that reason.Comment

Re: Steiner 2009 World Series items
It depends on the item. If you are getting something used by a coach or a common player or just a game used ball from the Series I would go with the Jeter signed ball from the Hits Record game as it was a milestone moment in a great player's career and there were only a certain amount of balls used in that game. There were more balls used in the Series and the Yankees have been there alot and are likely to go back in the future so a Yankees World Series ball is not all that unique and rare. And in 20 years the hits game ball will be more valuable and desirable to most collectors than something like Rob Thompson's hat from the Series, which at that point could be five Yankee titles ago.Comment
