    Babe Ruth Ball Thief

Another thief on eBay is trying to rip someone off.

This is the legitimate auction for a Babe Ruth ball.

This is the fake, copied auction.

    Sammy,

Fascinating. The $3,500/copy version actually has parts of the text changed ("father" to "Grand father", for instance).

Amazing to me that these guys think that no one will catch this.

I emailed eBay about the scam, they usually remove it within 24 hours.

I emailed the fake seller about the ball to see his response he emailed me back. I asked him in my email if you can tell me anymore about this ball bcuz I am interested in it.
        This was his response:

"yea sure, i got it authenticated on march 25th 2006, the grade certificate is 65003506 and the autograph certificate is E60871, i will send some pictures later on today when i get off work, any other questions feel free to ask."

I will ask him a few more questions and see what he says.

Good job on getting it removed. Ebay seems to be selective about what they remove and what they let go.
