seeing how so many of you have some pretty nice game used bats, I'd like to start a collection of my own - what sites/stores do you recommend for legit and authentic game bats? thanks and happy new year!

I definitely recommend Tim, he is always knowledgeable and is willing to help you with anything, real stand up guy. Taube is also good as mentioned, but prices can be a bit steep.

I'd also add Blue Chip Sports and Left Field Collectibles. LFC is bats only, while Blue Chip has jerseys, etc. Although their website is outdated, Sharon at Blue Chip is usually fairly quick to respond to emails and send photos.

Ebay, MLB auctions, Steiner (especially Steiner auctions) and the teams directly. Ebay is where I got most of my bats. I have picked up Irod, Jeter, Miguel Caberea, Evan Longoria, Lance berkman, carlos beltran, jose reyes, Adam Dunn, tood helton, ryan braun, prince fielder, justin morneau, dustin pedoria and andruw jones this way. But I would never buy anything from there that does not have the MLB hologram on it as there are way too many scammers on there.

I would say steiner auctions and mlb.com auctions are two good ones
