Cowboys Troy Aikman Jersey ?

I have a question that I hope someone can help with. I was offered was it supposed to be a 89 GU Aikman Cowboys jersey. Only tag I see from the pictures is the russell tag on the bottom front left. Does anyone know if and when the cowboys wore russell and what size aikman may have been? thanks

The Cowboys wore Russell throughout most of the 1980s and into the early '90s. Mid-career Aikman's I've seen were 50s, though, for an early career item, a 48 wouldn't be out of the question.

Keep in mind...if the NFL neck shield is present, it's not a rookie jersey, as the shield was added in 1991.
