Tbtc flannel

I am having a old style uniform made to wear in game play. The uniform can only be made of wool blend flannel and not knit material.

Since I m using it in games I want to know how durable were these old time jerseys as compared to the modern knits?

I would not want to spend the money on a custom jersey only to rip it during the first game I play.
