Does anyone own a 1968 Chicago White Sox flannel? If so, could you please post a picture of it? Thanks!

I don't own a 68 jersey, but here's couple pictures that might help.

The home jerseys are Wilson and the road style can be either Wilson or MacGregor. If you're being offered one, be careful with the name on back. Most of those jerseys were recycled.

If you're being offered one, do you have a picture?

Hi karamaxjoe, thank you for the help. I was mostly interested in the back of the road flannel. Do you have a picture of the back of the road flannel? Thanks.

Here's a shot of the front and back. This one has a restored name.

For ANY pre-1969 White Sox flannels, home or road, an original NOB is extremely difficult to find...these styles were recycled to the minors in massive quantities. 1969-70 Sox flannels aren't a whole lot easier to find in all original condition...though with those, it's not an issue of NOB removals/restorations as it is team-performed number and name changes, as the White Sox were pitiful both years, and players were continually being promoted, demoted, traded, and/or released.

Thanks for the help, guys. Just one more thing. On the 1969 White Sox flannel, should the team script, numbers, and player's name be twill or what material? Also, were the player's name always outlined in white or did some of the player's names just have the solid blue on the '69 flannels? Thanks.

Also, I'm talking about the road '69 flannel. Sorry, forgot to mention that. Thanks again in advance.

Chris,

Go to my website and check out the 1970 road jersey. The 69 road and 70 road are identical except for the MLB 100 year patch on the 69 sleeve. The logo, numbers and name are all in tackle twill. You'll see that the logo, numbers and name are all layered in blue and white and are not one layer of blue like the previous seasons jerseys. You'll also see the layers of blue and white are different from the front to the back. Hope this helps.
