From an idea started by Suave1477-whats the one main item you want? Whats your Unicorn or Holy Grail? It's described as an almost impossible piece to find for your collection-if not impossible. Mine is a Andy Van Slyke Pittsburgh G/U jersey. So,what's yours?

My Holy Grail would be a Jonathan Papelbon Game Used Sarasota Red Sox Jersey. It remains the only Jersey of his I don't own. I own 2 different Lowell Spinners Jerseys, 4 different Portland Sea Dogs Jerseys, the only Pawtucket Jersey made available so far, 2 different 2005 Boston Jerseys and a 2006 Boston Home Jersey. The Sarasota Jersey has eluded me. I'm not sure it was ever made available and the team is now with the Reds.

Swoboda im surprised thats a hard item to find!!! I could have sworn i saw one in a auction house somewhere recently. Is there a particular reason why that one is hard for you to get?

This year I was able to pick up both a Rick Anderson and Randy Neimann GU bat from when they played for the Mets. I started my 86 Mets GU bat collection in 1990 and it took me 16 years to find these 2 relief pitcher bats. I didn't think it was every going to happen and to have complete the collection on the 20th anniversary of the 86 Mets is so fitting!

My Advice to everyone is never give up and keep looking!!

Suave1477-I was on vacation when 2 years ago I missed a Van Slyke Pittsburgh Home white that went on sale on ebay from Rod Woodsons bar and grill when it closed. Then I had difficulty with a Pittsburgh away grey that I liked but had a problem with an all-star patch on what I felt was a wrong year jersey. So I kind of feel my luck is running out-not quite three strikes though.

Any Steve Spurrier or Danny Wuerffel game worn jersey. And, believe it or not, any Chris Doering gamer. Here's why Doering is my favorite Gator. He grew up in Gainesville and wanted to play for UF. An assistant coach told him he'd never play for UF, let alone any D-1 school. Well, 5 years later he left school as the SEC record holder for touchdown receptions. He's carved out a decent NFL career for 10 years (Colts, Broncos, Redskins, Steelers).

I have 2:
1989 Robin Yount game used bat that with Jim C.'s help I found out it was used in Robin's second MVP season. It is uncracked with perfect pine tar and use. I recently got it signed with a photo of Robin signing it.
2002 Corey Dillon home game worn jersey. I photo matched it to Getty and three different cards due to the fact it has a particular striped pattern and is hemmed that shows perfectly to one of his cards. It shows awesome use.
To me, being able to identify both and that I really enjoyed watching these two play makes them special to me. Thanks for listening.

There are a few things but the top 2 i can think of now are a game used Manny Ramirez Red Sox jersey any year or an Arod Yankees or Mariners game used bat.I know they are out there but cost too much for me.Geoff

Mine would have to be a David Justice game used 1995 World Series jersey, preferably the home one.
