The signature looks authentic, but the auction seems to be misleading. I have been looking at Braun bats for a while now and most of what I see is the black SAM model. I have never seen a bat that doesn't have his name on it.

The seller states that it was obtained after a Brewers game. Anyone?

BTW, I have already emailed the seller - awaiting response.

I have never seen him use a bat like that he uses the mota stick and not pin tar. I just posted two braun bats on ebay and they come with mlb holograms. If interested offer on them.

In addition to what JJ said why would he be using a generic no-name on barrell bat?

He keeps saying some lucky kid got this bat lol. Who is this lucky kid? Was it a stranger that he thumped the kid over the head and took the bat or was it his own kid and took the bat from the kid like every other seller and just sells it on ebay. Sounds like there is a very unlucky kid now.

Dave: No chance Braun used that bat in a game. Signature looks plausible from a ballpark signing situation.

Looks like the bat is back up for sale at a ridiculous, increased price.

I have already contacted this seller - and of course, no reply. I didn't expect one.

He is using a baseball card with a photo of Braun holding a blonde bat as 'proof' that Ryan used something in the general coloring of the bat he is selling.

If that's the case, here's a few notes...the photo is obviously photoshopped...and Braun is placed in Miller Park - when the photo was probably taken in a studio. The bat he is holding is probably something that came out of a junk pile.

I really hope someone doesn't get burned on this one. The seller has been told that he is misrepresenting the item.

Sad part is, the auto looks OK -

I love how he gave the same cheesy story as the other guy, can you say copy, paste.
