    Jim Caravello on Mattingly Bats

    Jim,

Great blog on the Mattingly bats! It will be very helpful to me as I too am always looking for his gamers. What do you think about the Rawlings currently on AM?

    Thanks,
    Chris

Re: Jim Caravello on Mattingly Bats

Hi Chris - the bat currently in American Memorabilia is a legitimate gamer from 1985. I owned one identical to it years ago without any smoke damage. The model number is perfect for Mattingly - 155B and matches up to the one I owned as well as a black 1991 155B Adirondack I once owned that was sourced from Jesse Barfield. Good luck! Jim

      Jim,

Additional kudos on another great blog. Terrific photos too. I suddenly have the urge to go home and pull out some of my Mattingly bats tonight.

Hey Jim, I was doing some internet searching and came across this site and your name. I found this post that mentions you did a blog on Mattingly bats, any chance you know where I can find it? I've got a few Mattingly gamers that have PSA paperwork on them, and I have an opportunity to pick up one that doesn't have any paperwork but I'm always hesitant when it doesn't have any paperwork. Figured your blog might be able to help me. Thanks in advance.
