Hello,
I beleive I have had the greatest day's ever as a Brewers collector. I was able to buy a small collection of Brewers bats from the late 70's to the late 80's from a real nice couple today. Some of these bats are a little harder to find then the rest. Here is a list of the bats I picked up. Hope you all enjoy!!

Ned Yost 80-83 LS uncracked
Ted Simmons 80-83 LS uncracked
Roy Howell 80-83 uncracked
Rob Picciolo 80-83 uncracked
Mark Brouhard 80-83 uncracked
Don Money 82 Adir. uncracked
Gorman Thomas 84-85 LS uncracked
Ben Oglivie 84 Rawlings uncracked
Jim Gantner 86-89 uncracked
Larry Hisle 78-79 H&B uncracked

No Bob Skube, but still a nice haul! Can you share how you came across this couple who sold them to you?

As an aside, I met Don Money at a local card shop last month and he couldn't have been nicer.....

Congrats!

Thanks for the comments on the bats. I guess this couple did a search on Google for Brewers game used bats and came across my name and email address and the rest is history. I would like to say thanks to them once again for so many great bats.

I never thought I would be able to find a signature modle Simmons 80-83 bat or a Ned Yost 80-83 bat. I have been looking for over 20 some years for these two bats and then find them together. This just goes to show you, never give up a chance for that next great items is just around the next coner. When it takes a long time like this, it's all worht it in the end.

Jamie,

Congrats on finding two bats you were trying to find for 20 years in one shot. It usually happens that way as some other collector had a full set of team bats which becomes available. I was looking for Rick Anderson and Randy Niemann game used bats for over 15 years and a couple of years ago a private collection went on sale and I was able to get those two bats within a two week period.

It's always worth the wait.
