Jays Dave Steib game worn cap

I don't know too much about this cap, but I'm offering it for sale.

One of a kind Dave Steib game worn cap from a St.Patrick's Day exhibition game against the Dodgers at Skydome. It is all green (fitted of course) and good signs of wear. Signed neatly on the bill by Dave.

I was told it was from the 1989 pre-season, but it's autograph is dated 1991.

Interesting piece.

If the game was actually played at Skydome, it couldn't have been in 1989 since the Skydome didn't open until June of that year.

According to the following link, an exhibition game between Cork and the All-Stars football (i.e. soccer) teams were played on March 17, 1991 at the Skydome. Maybe the exhibition game was played in Florida during Spring Training?

I got it from a former Toronto media personality who was close to the team and a good friend of Dave's. He owns a pair of Dave's cleats, a game used glove as well as a number of other personal items.

I wish I knew exactly what the story is with this.
