Hi everyone-
I wanted to ask for any early Bird jersey collectors as to any information on the current Legendary Auction's Bird jersey "style" match probablity/game jersey.
I am not familiar with the early '80s tagging and combed a couple other early Bird jersey tagging for comparison and found differences.
Likewise, the AMI comparison description found for the pic below says that Bird didn't use cheesecloth jersey, but this was before his time and usually was another earlier #33 Celtics player??? Dunno, just throwing it out there.

Thanks!

Cheesecloth is another way of saying "nylon-knit". Durene and rayon-blend have been referred to as cheesecloth in the past. I think cheesecloth is an open-weaved durene-cotton or rayon-viscose blend. I do not think Sand Knit ever used the fabric technically known as cheesecloth. I would think only cotton as been used in the cheese making process.
