    Anyone hear of a MLB player KEANEY from the 20's?

    I have Hillerich bat from the 20's with the name stamped "KEANEY" on the barrell I cannot find anything on this guy....

      The only Keaney I found was minor leaguer from 1913 http://www.baseball-reference.com/mi...i?id=keaney001---

      Wonder if it's anything to do with Frank Keaney the old Rhode Island coach from way back? He's more famous for basketball. But from what I read he coached baseball too.

          Yeah that is what I thought it could be the old RI Coach I got the bat just outside of boston at the dump someone was throwing it out... I think he played baseball at UMAINE....
