Re: 0006 Pro Code?
From searches on this site from years past:
6000 is the code used for Majestic retail, store-bought jerseys,
0006 is the code used for Majestic professional, game-used jerseys. -
Re: 0006 Pro Code?
I just looked at 3 of my Majestic Gamers and they all show
006
Should there be another 0 before the 6?Comment

Re: 0006 Pro Code?
As a general rule of thumb - yes. However, you will ocassionally find 0006 or 006* sold as retail and 6000 or 6*00 used by a player. You definitely need to look at all of the charteristics and not just rely on the wash tag code.Rob L

Re: 0006 Pro Code?
There was a point, however (over 10 years ago) when Majestic player-isssued BPs DID have a 6000 tag inside. The changeover to the currently desired 0006 seems to be in 1997-98. I was given two 1996 Cubs BP jerseys by Cubs pitchers (not stars), and both were tagged 6000 inside.
