    MLB hologram wrong information?

I recently purchased a cracked game used bat with an mlb hologram and when I typed it into the hologram database it came up witht the correct player and gave the date and inning where the bat was cracked. However, when i looked through photos of the game, the player never used that kind of bat during the game. I then signed up for mlb tv and watched the whole game, still the player not only didn't use that kind of bat, but never cracked or broke one. Has anybody ever experienced this?

The date that the mlb hologram says is not always the date the bat was cracked. It can be the date it was cracked, or it could be the date that the mlb representative recieved the game used item. Hope this helps

I have the same problem. I won a game used Mike Lowell chair and when I received it, the mlb hologram read a game used line up card. WTF!
