Needed some opinions on the this Majestic tagging from a 2003 Marlins black alternate jersey. Is it just me or does there appear some extra stitching just below the normal stitching on the Majestic tag and just above where the size and extra lengh tags are? Also, has anyone seen tags yellowed like this on a jersey while the rest of the Majestic tags looks new? Woud this yellowing be caused by possible exposure to sun? Lastly the size and extra length tagging appear to be off center which can happen I guess during the manufacturing process but seems kind of odd given the other issues I brought up.

Re: Opinions needed on Majestic Tagging
I apologize I meant to type Russell tagging. For some reason I just had Majestic stuck in my head and wasn't paying attention. We really need an edit feature!! -
Re: Opinions needed on Majestic Tagging
Here's another 2003 Marlins Russell tag I found and it looks like it has the same stitching so that's not to much of any issue anymore. Any feedback on the yellowing of the tags?

Dewey:
Your size 50 Marlins alternate looks to be tagged properly (1st post). The color difference may be from a combination of wash wear and different materials used for the Russell label and the flag tags.

Re: Opinions needed on Majestic Tagging
Thanks Dave! The tagging is from the 2003 Dontrelle Willis WS jersey that is in the current Grey Flannel auction. I e-mailed his mom and she indicated that he kept his WS jerseys and she has his All-Star jerseys. I guess there is a chance the Marlins could have worn multiple black alternate jerseys during the series but I will stay away from this one based on his mom's feedback.Comment

Re: Opinions needed on Majestic Tagging
I have a Juan Pierre home alternate pinstripe jersey from the 2003 season and the tagging on the jersey is almost identical to the one you initially posted. Hope this helps.Comment
