Re: Thurman Munson Game Used Bat?
I can't tell you if it's authentic or not but if you can get the model number of the bat there are those on the forum that can tell you if Munson ordered that model bat in that size during the specific labeling period. Good luck!Comment

Re: Thurman Munson Game Used Bat?
Was this the one on craigslist. Should never really post about a item because it aint hard for others to find it. If it is the same one, someone got a steal at $300.Comment

Re: Thurman Munson Game Used Bat?
Based on Munson's personal H & B order records (7-3-68 to 7-30-79), there is no documentation that he ever ordered model S44 bats in a 34 inch length. In fact all S44 bats ordered during his career were 35 inches in length, with one order at 35.5 inches (1976).
Only one H & B order by Munson is documented with a length of 34 inches -- model S2 in April, 1969, at 30 oz and 31 oz in weight.
