Bought My Third Game Used Jersey! Anybody Speak Spanish?

I just a 1999 or 2000 Roberto Hernandez Devil Rays Jersey.

I am pretty sure the jersey is real.

It has a pretty long inscription in Spanish.....

I can't read the first line, nut the second line means "with a lot of love/care" depending on your interpretation and if I can read the third line correctly, it basically says "yours forever." Kind of odd, I wonder who it was for.

Hey Luc,

It was cheap and Hernandez was a cool player to talk to back then. I talked to him a lot in 1998-99. I thought it was a cool inscription as well.

1) While on the auction page, click on the thumbnail of the picture that you want enlarged
2) Click on the main picture to open the pop-up window with picture
3) Right click on the lower right of the pop-up window, and select "view page source"
4) Search (ctrl-f) for "img src"; the url that you see is for uncompressed image

I think the third line says: "tu pana siempre" wich it means: your buddy or your pal forever. "Pana" means buddy, pal, good-old friend, etc.

That makes more sense, I thought it was "para," which I thought was a little odd for a GU inscription

I have a 1999 Devil Rays and it does not have the MLB Logo. This Hernandez jersey does have it and in 2001 the Devil Rays changed their uni's. So the Hernandez has to be a 2000. Hernandez was in St. Pete 1998 through 2000.

Any ideas on who the Hernandez jersey was give to?
