BMH Evan Longoria Signature brand for 2010?

    Hello Brian,

I saw a pic of one of Evan's 2010 LVS bats (not a great pic) but the signature brand seemed to be slightly different from his 2009 signature brand (which I know was different from his 2008 signature brand). Did he go with a different signature brand for 2010 as well? I just want to check. I am looking to get one bat from each year. I got an '08 and '09...looking for '10!

To my knowledge it hasn't been changed. I'll double check though.

Thanks for looking into that Brian. It may not have changed. It just looks like it could be different from a 09 game I have.

          Hey Brian,

I have since seen some of Longoria's 2010 gamers and you are right, they do not have a different signature brand from 2009. Still the signature with the #3 in it.

I do have a question on his bats though: There seems to be a light collored substance that seems to be rubbed into the grains of the upper portion of the bat (under the finished area of the bat) maybe to fill in the grains after the flame treatment? I am curious as to what this is, and why it is done. When I look at the bat at an angle it looks completely smooth as a result where as a raw bat would show grain texture. Just curious and thanks for all of the cool info on LVS bats!
