If you use USPS you can use the boxes. They have triangle shaped boxes that you can use and they are cheap if not free. In fact you can request them to be shipped to your house for free if you want to keep them stocked (It's what I did).

just like spartakid said, I'd use the USPS Tube boxes. I got my first 2 bats in this week and both came in the tube boxes with no problem what so ever.
