    MLB helmet question

Have you ever seen, or heard of, a game-used batting helmet with a "DB" holo sticker inside? Obviously, it's not an authentication sticker, but just to show that it's licensed...but could such an item have actually been game-used (or issued)? I've heard of store jerseys being used by players, in a pinch...but helmets?

That sticker is just to show that it's MLB Merchandise. You can find it on almost anything

And you don't have any question about your helmets' being genuine gamers, then?

The holos aren't unusual. I too have a number of them with the generic DB holo. If you search through Getty you'll see interior shots of helmets showing the holograms, like the one of Eric Young below from 2002. I also have Dexter Fowler's '09 Rockies helmet (photomatched/team COA) and it has one. They've been present for awhile although they have little to no bearing on authenticity, imo.
