Offered on Ebay is an "all original" 1972 Phillies home knit-
One problem-the Phillies embroidered the last name of the player in the collar. Note how this shirt not only is void of the name in the collar, it is also void of the white lining that should be around the collar, as well!
The shirt appears to be legit, however, as was the case with most of these early 1970's Phillies knits, they were recycled to their minor league teams for additional use. Usually, the name in the collar is crossed out with black pen, and the minor league players name written in. In this case, the entire lining appears to be removed. Note the very heavy wear on the numbers and P, a sign that it saw additional use beyond Philadelphia.
I have emailed the seller for additional info., however, have not heard back as of this date.
