Anyone help me with this? The bat is stamped 2/6/2010 on the knob. Can't figure out who it could be.

Did you look up the MLB Authentication? maybe that could help.

Jeff Keppinger. There is definitely a J to start it...and a K in there. Hes on the Astros......I looked at images of his autograph, and they are similar to whats on the bat...especially the last letter...and the J.

Maybe its not...but I would take a look at the MLB authentication.

MLB Authentication is not up yet. The bat was cracked last night in the 3rd Inning by catcher Kevin Cash. Bat has his #36 on the knob and barrel end, but that doesn't look like Kevin Cash's signature.

Thanks,

It's not Kevin Cash's.

I wonder if it was a mistake. I cannot match the sig either!
Cash's is A-25-5-3, this one was A-25-5-2, the brander might have grabbed the wrong one.

I would say it is Jeff Keppinger. Now it could be that Kep gave Cash this bat to use. Who knows but I believe that is a Keppinger bat.

its jeff, it would make sence b/c cash was just in AAA, where i graph, and i asked for a bat and he told me he has not ordered any yet this year so he is borrowing other peoples bats, and he was just called up and i compared that to a ip sig i got of Jeff Kep. last season and it is almost identical.

It's Joe Koshansky

You are correct!

The only thing I could make out on the back of the brand was "Joe". It was written in sharpie and was covered up by tape residue. I tried taking off the tape but it took the marker with it.

For some reason his name wasn't in the database anymore. It goes from A-25-5-1 to A-25-5-3.

Thank you.

Old post, but Louisville screwed up Kevin Cash's order in 2010. They put Koshansky's facsimile on Kevin's bats by mistake. I asked Kevin after seeing bats with Koshansky's sig with Astros on it, then seeing Cash use one.
