Honus Wagner's House Nobody wants it?

Here is some interesting news today. In the New York Daily News.

With all the media starting on the All Star Game in Pitts.
This came to light the owners of Honus Wagners house the he had built nad supervision of making in 1917 after he retired from baseball and lived in for 55 tears until he past away. Is up for sale and no one wants it.

The owners of the house are the owners of the Pirates and they bought it a couple of years ago thinking it would be great promotion for the All Star game to turn it into a Bed and Breakfast. But the local goverment of the community won't let them do it so now there selling it for $199.999.

They put it up on ebay last month got tons of hits but no bids. Now there trying to sell it through a realtor but nobody is interested.

I dont know for $199.999 sounds to me like a pretty sweet deal for a 3 story house owned and lived in by one of Baseballs Greats!!!

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

What an amazing house!!! A house like that here in So. Cal. would be 7 figures then you add the baseball history and your looking at some nice added value. So if you add $199,999 to purchase this house i'd do it.

If Pittsburg's inner city is reflective of most American cities, it's probably not the most choice location in town!

As the ebay listing honestly states:"When Honus Wagner built his home it WAS (not "is") in Carnegie's finest section."
