Early Pics of Players with Embroidered Equipment....

I was looking through my seven totes full of sports mags yesterday, searching for pics of Bicentennial bats. Out of all the mags I only found one pic with enough detail and it is a nice one of Bill Madlock. What is interesting is Madlock had his name embroidered on his batting gloves.

This is 1976 and the earliest I have seen a player with name embroidered equipment. Anyone else have any pics of players with embroidered equipment from years gone by?

BTW, there is NO Powerized Logo on Madlock's 1976 bat.....

I could not get the pics to turn out clear enough and still be small enough to post..... But rest assured the batting gloves are embroidered with "Madlock".....
