Brian...

As I continue to photograph my Thomas bats I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit more about the following 3 FRANK THOMAS Louisville Sluggers (how many he ordered, etc). What was his relationship with LVS like? Do you know why he stopped using LVS? I imagine that the two 91-97 era LVS that I have were probably used earlier in his career than later given that he switched to Worth and then Rawlings by the mid 90's. Thank you very much for your time and knowledge.

1990 C243
1991-1997 C243 (I imagine that this is closer to 91 than 97)
1991-1997 T158 (I imagine that this is closer to 91 than 97)

First Pic...I have no idea. It does fit the 1990 orders but I can't tell you which one or why the last line is blank.

Second pic, this could be a 1990 or a 1991. Not sure if it's a FT finish or a SFT. I don't even know what a SFT finish is.

The third pic, the T158 is the easiest. It is from 1996 (24) bats. There was one ordered in 1998 but it looks to be a promotional bat.

As for his relationship with H&B I'm sure it was the same as it was for many players. We were a vendor who supplied tools. I'm not sure of the relationship between Chuck and Frank Thomas. I was still in High School. As for why he stopped using us. Probably the same reason many players stop using a certain bat. They are in a slump, get a hit with another bat. Tired of breakage, incorrect weights, etc. There are many reasons.
