    Led Zeppelin Night

    June 17 will see the West Michigan Whitecaps (Midwest League, low-A) clad in uniforms with a theme honoring the legendary rock band. The jerseys will feature the team name across the front in the unique font used by the band in advertising and band memorabilia, with the picture of an actual zepppelin beneath. The zeppelin overlays a silhouette of lead singer Robert Plant. More on this promotion at www.milb.com

          The Mighty Zeppelin, or as they've come to be known by my children......

          "God's Own Band".



          If I were able to play in that game, I'd have painted on my bat:

          "The HAMMER OF THE GODS!"
