    Anyone Get Historic Auction Items?

I was just following up on some recent issues.

This question is for anyone who won items in the recent Historic Auctions offering.

1- How did they communicate to winning bidders that for certain items they would not be receiving the Global Authentication letters as they represented on their website and in the auction catalog?

2- What did the replacement letters look like?

    Thanks
    Eric

Eric - We won several items that were not described to have the GAI cert so we had no issues. We won some bats with Taube certs and some MLB items.

I did bid on some game used that described the GAI but was outbid.

I won a few items! I never received an invoice by e-mail, and finally realized I had to go log on to pay my invoice. Shipping was stated to be 3 days, but showed up about 2 weeks later. Both arrived without COAs, but a letter stating they would show up at a later date. For some reason, they wrapped celephane around a fresh pinetar bat, causing most of the tar to come off. Not too happy about that!

Thanks for the info. Please keep us posted. Does it say anything about the LOAs not coming from Global?
