    Should 1970s Red Sox jerseys have year tag?

    Specifically 1977? LMK. Tagged in collar too? Thanks guys.

      Yeah, Greg, on both counts. The McAuliffe label and the size in the collar, with the washing instructions and year tag in the front center tail.

      Another thing to watch for: Red Sox jerseys where, while the other tags are firm and intact, the year tag "somehow" washed or fell out. There are a few bogus Fergie Jenkins and Luis Aparicio jersey that have this questionable missing tag and are actually Don Bryant (Jenkins) and a couple of diminutive players (Aparicio) that were unethically altered to reflect the more valuable player identity.
