    Donnie Baseball

I'm very excited about my new pickup. Was able to get a Mattingly bat from Tim at hofbats.

Mattingly was "my guy" growing up and the reason I played first base and wore #23. Glad to finally add a Mattingly to my collection.

I know there are a lot of Mattingly collectors/fans on here and I always enjoyed seeing their Donnie Baseball items.

Mattingly often put numbers on the knob other than 23 so his bats wouldn't disappear. Being on the Yankees, he had plenty of numbers he could use that nobody else used (3,4,5,7, etc.)

            I didn't know that.
