New S100 helmets for the All Star Game

It looks like the All Star Game is now requiring the new S100 helmets to be worn. Minor league players all over are being quoted as hating them so I assume the all-stars tonight aren't liking them too much.

They don't look too horrible, just different. I like the Cool Flo helemts best.

They crack easily, hence some teams that switched to them as a team went back to the traditional style helmets.

I just noticed that too. I thought every player was wearing them at first.

Reminiscent to the 2005 All-Star game when most players tested out the, at the time, experimented Cool Flo helmets.

The ones last night have been redesigned from the original ones that were made from what I understand.

They were using them last year during Arizona Fall League and they looked atrocious, the ones at the All Star Game seemed to be a tad smaller.

Even withe then being smaller they still looked like a bunch of little leaguers out there.

You would think rawlings would somehow be able to make a helmet with a lot of protection, while not making the players look like they have huge heads.
