Back in the mid-2000s, I sold my autographed Tony Gwynn game used bat on ebay and have regretted it ever since and would like to buy it back if possible. I figured maybe someone on GUU has it. I don't have pics of the bat so here's the most I have on it:
(1) I got it directly from Gwynn at Veteran's Stadium before the game. Would have been during the 1980s.
(2) Bat was a blonde Louisville Slugger, no tape on the handle.
(3) Tony signed his name on the barrell using a black sharpie pen. It was a large signature.
(4) Bat was not broken, but showed good game use.
(5) If I recall, the top of the bat was scooped and his number was on the knob.
(6) Again, sold on ebay about 7 years ago.
I'm pretty sure I would recognize it if I saw it. I know this is a long shot but I figured I would try.
