Hi does anyone know if And when these Negro League Jerseys from The Game at Kansas City will be Available.The Game was Played Saturday July 31 2010.

Last year the jerseys from the game - both teams - were donated to and sold by the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. Looks like they are this year too.



Saturday, July 31 - Baltimore Orioles vs. Royals, 6:10 p.m.
** Note: Gates A&E in the Outfield Experience will open early at 3:00 p.m. All gates will open at 4:30 p.m.

• Salute to the Negro Leagues - The Royals and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum pay tribute to Kansas City's rich baseball tradition with this annual salute. A pregame party presented by Hy-Vee and Pepsi, featuring $1 Farmland hot dogs and Pepsi products, will take place near the All-Star Barbeque in right field beginning at 3:00 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. Fans are invited to visit with former Negro Leagues players during an autograph session from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The group will then be recognized during pregame ceremonies. On the field, both teams don Negro League uniforms provided by Sprint with the Royals wearing the 1949 Kansas City Monarchs home uniforms and the Orioles wearing the Baltimore Elite Giants road uniforms from the early 1950s. BTW, they sell them in person, no phone or internet, usually in December
here is an album of last year's event. They typically put out a price list a month or so ahead of the event, some will be jerseys only, some will be jerseys, pants and hats combos... most signed. Prices were generally pretty decent.

Too bad they don't make it easier for those out of state to buy things. I, for one, would not look forward to a drive from Minneapolis to KC in December...

Sweet thanks for posting! Being a Braves fan Kevin Millwood is one of the guys who I collect so now I can add one of his O's jerseys even though he was on the bench for this game!
