By looking at these photos there is no way that I believe the glove to be a game used DiMaggio glove. It is a lower quality glove that is very atypical of major league use. It doesnt even have rolled leather piping it has cheap canvas coated piping. That should set some red flags up and is probably the reason the price is so low.

I'd love to know the content of the various conversations that the authenticators had about this glove. It sounds like a good number of equipment experts have seen it, or at least know of it.

It is too difficult to read the letter, so I'm not sure what is actually authenticated/stated, but I do see that Dan Knoll is the GAI game used expert on the letter. While I've never thought of Dan as a glove guy, I know him to be very thorough in his evaluations.

Anyone know anything about this piece?
