    Goodman and Sons Jersey Styles

My research indicates that Goodman and Sons made changes with their jerseys between 1984 and 1985. Looking at two California Angels road jerseys from that period, I noticed a difference in the stitching of the seams as well as the inside the of the sleeve trim. One of the examples is a 1985 jersey, based on the 25th anniversary patch on the right sleeve. This ‘85 Goodman and Sons jersey has the traditional straight line seam stitching and the single fabric elastic sleeve trim. The other example, also a Goodman and Sons, has curved seam stitching with double fabric stitched to the inner sleeve trim. I confirmed that the curve seams existed on the Angels road jerseys in 1983 and 1984 through Angel yearbook photos. Although I know Wilson provided the home jerseys during this period, I am not sure if Wilson also provided road jerseys. The curved seams are very similar to the Wilson seams of that era. I’m curious to know if others noticed this as well on other Goodman jerseys
