The above patch was worn by the Twins in 2004 to honor for Eloise Pohlad, the late wife of team owner Carl Pohlad.

Here are a couple of Yankees patches...

The Ricoh patch worn in the opening series with the Devil Rays in Japan back in 2004


I really wanted to Yankess batting helmet with the Ricoh decal, but according to Yankees Steiner, they took the decals off the helmets after the series and continued using those helmets during the season. If anyone happens to have one with the Ricoh helmet, let me know.

And the Salvation Army patch the Yankees wore in a September home series to honor the relief workers after Hurricane Katrina in 2005

here's a gem that's rarely seen. a patch worn on the left sleeve of the Jays' 1984 jerseys commemorating the anniversary of the city. sweet isn't it.

cool patch. i don't remember ever seeing that. i found a pic of jorge bell with that patch from a 1984 scorebook currently on ebay

I once played poker in Bakersfield, CA while waiting for my ex-girlfriend's brother and wife who were attending a funeral there. They needed a ride back to LA and I was in LA for a poker tournament at The Commerce Casino.

While standing outside the small casino in Bakersfield, CA a young poker player walked up to me, handed me a copy of the old Poker Digest Magazine and asked me for my autograph. I couldn't believe it, there was a thumbnail photo of me in that magazine and I received my first (and last to date) autograph request.

I should have turned him down...
