The item shown that corresponds with the number above (link or photos, please, anyone) is one of a number of 1970-71 Cubs flannels that surfaced in the 1980s. While there is no problem with this one having been worn by J.C. Martin, this jersey (and close to a dozen like it) were acquired by a Chicago dealer from a Cubs minor league outpost. The seller apparently hasn't noticed the common problem that this whole dozen Cubs flannels group had...a restored Cubs patch like the ones the Cubs used in 1979-86 on a 1970-71 gamer. Giveaways as to the erroneous (chronologically) nature of the round Cubs logo on the front are a thicker blue border, a thicker red C, and a small blue registered trademark symbol (R inside a circle) that were used from 1979-86, but not in the flannel era. The restoration using the wrong patch seems to be diluting the bids to a lower level than the proper patch, original or restored, would bring.
