Has Rob gotten out of the retail business?? I have his site boomarked on my homepage and have noticed he has not updated his site in a while. Now I am seeing a lot of his inventory being offered by BPH on eBay. This is sad to see and a great loss if he closing shop. Rob was a good guy in the hobby!

The majority of Rob's time is currently being spent with The Bridge outreach program founded by Rob and his wife. Take a second and check out the site of this outstanding program.

I certainly will not speak for Rob but I know he has been extremely busy with his wife working on a Teen Center for troubled youth in the Chicago area. From what I understand, this has taken up much of his time recently and possibly why his site hasn't been updated. I believe this is a link to the program he is working on with his wife:

Hi Everyone.

It's been a while since I posted here, and even longer since I updated my website. As some know, a majority of my time over the last year or two has been spent on the launch of a nonprofit organization called The Bridge Teen Center. Located in the south suburbs of Chicago, our mission is to provide a safe place for teens to hang out (and participate in a wide variety of holistic programming) during afterschool and unsupervised hours. Because of this shift in my focus, I made the decision to sell off my non-Cubs inventory and close the website. I could not think of a more honest individual to deal with than Kim Stigall at Ball Park Heroes. In my experience, he's a guy who always does the right thing. As I transition back into private collector mode, I'll be launching a new Cubs-specific site this fall that will feature an online museum of items from my personal collection, along with a list of Cubs items I have available for trade. That site will be located at www.collectcubs.com.

I am grateful to all of my hobby friends who have been so supportive of The Bridge Teen Center. Many of you have supported us financially, others have donated their time and expertise. I am especially grateful to Chris Cavalier, who donated a portion of the proceeds of the last GUU auction to The Bridge. There are a thousand good charities all around us, and I am humbled by the fact that so many have chosen to lend their support to our grassroots effort. I'll probably never leave the hobby entirely, however, my tenure as an active "dealer" has been put on hold.
