I picked up one of Lou Brock's cleats from the Legendary Auction in the spring...I'm trying to figure out when in the 60's he wore them. They do not have any manufacturer tagging, but I'm guessing they were made by Wilson from other research I've done. The cleat layout seems to be unique to any other I've seen from the same era and appear to be custom. They match the tread pattern of his Converse sneakers he endorsed and designed (around 1969-70). I've found a newswire pic from 1970 that clearly shows the traditional cleat layout and his 1968 Topps World Series card (showing a batting picture of him from the '67 WS) shows a matching heel pattern (but not clearly). Anyone have any idea? Any info would help. Here's a link to the auction page http://legendaryauctions.com/LotDeta...0&category=100
