    San Francisco Giants Jersey Question

Hello all. Does anyone know if the San Francisco Giants used a company called California Athletic to manufacture their jerseys during the late 70's/early 80's? Any help is much appreciated.

The Giants game jerseys were mostly Wilson from 1976-86, with Alpha making 1 1981 game style and some 1980s BPs. Sand-Knit and Wilson were also BP suppliers pre-1987. I wonder if California Athletic might have been a local company that did lettering and numbering, a la Koch's in Cincinnati or Cosby in NY/NJ? One of our Giants specialists such as Lon Lewis or Marichal27 would know the answer to that, and their input is welcomed.
