I was just browsing ebay and found an awful game used Dan Marino jersey already up to $200. Multiple issues with this jersey so if any forum members are bidding or considering bidding please don't! First off the "1" is totally incorrect. Also the jersey is claimed to have been made in 98 by Nike. In 98 the Dolphins used starter and then switched to Nike for 99 and 00. Pictures included.

I'm not sure, but I just noticed too. The sleeves are cuffed and not open like QB jerseys normally are.Comment

Looks like the authentic-looking Nike tags have fooled a few people already. Possible tag tampering? There are no close-up photos of the collar or tail tyagging.

I own a late 90's retail and the 1 doesn't look like that. I think it was made to look like a game used and completely failed! I sent a question about the COA and he said he updated photos to include the COA's. Apparently it is tagged for 98 and orignally contained starter logos but they were sewn over with nike logos. But even with that, the sleeves and number are completely inconsistent with Marino jerseys of that time!
