Re: Scott Rolen Bat Experts - Mizuno
Hey Andrew,
Just saw your post on GUU. Rolen has used that style of Mizuno for the past few years, along with LVS. When he first came over to the Reds last year, he used that style almost exclusively. So far this year, I've only seen him use LVS, though a couple of those Mizunos have popped up in the team shop recently with Orlando Cabrera characteristics. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
Thanks,
Josh

Re: Scott Rolen Bat Experts - Mizuno
Ocab has used Rolen's bats some this year, but this one does not seem to be one of them. Ocab loads his bats with pine tar, and you would see some major action on it much like his helmets.Looking for: Joey Votto game used items.

Re: Scott Rolen Bat Experts - Mizuno
I have the same model but it was used during his days in Toronto. I agree with AWA85, if it was used by Cabrera it would be loaded with pinetar.Comment

Re: Scott Rolen Bat Experts - Mizuno
Andrew,
The Mizuno I mentioned earlier did have his #27 on the ends.
Also, I have seen at the store in the past two months Rolen's Louisville bats for sale but his number was blacked out and another player's number was added.......Comment

Re: Scott Rolen Bat Experts - Mizuno
I've watched every game on tv this year. Rolen used these for a couple of games after the AS break I think, when he was slumping a bit. I saw 2 recently at the shop. One appeared to be used by Rolen, the other was used by Cabrera because it had the pine tar, taped handle, and 2 written beside the x'd out 27.- CINCINNATI REDS/JOEY VOTTO BATS
