I noticed this mask right away during last night’s Giants vs. Bears game! Very unusual! It almost looks like an old Dungard DG-140 on steroids!
Alot of the Giants players were wearing some very unique and new mask styles that looked simultaneously modern, yet almost old-school, especially with their grey color.

I believe he had a detached retina earlier in his career and wears the extra protection to prevent further injury.
This year with the Giants is I believe the first year he has worn the DNA helmet, which necesitated Schutt making a DNA version of that facemask for him.Comment
