Pete Rose Mizuno 3631 questions

Does anyone have any info on these bats? Is there an A stamped into the handle, length, weight, etc? I know that these are blonde bats, and have heard that Pete ordered some with a rose finish (not pink) and was not allowed to use them because Frank Robinson would not allow it. I guess that these could be considered game issued bats, but how can I tell what was game issued or one that was just a Pete Rose giveaway?

Any info (especially pics of pink vs "rose") would be greatly appreciated!
