    Baseball Hit By Roberto Clemente

Asking $325 for the ball. Hit by Roberto Clemente on 9/13/66 off of pitcher Rick Ferrell. Here is a link to the boxscore of the game:
The box score of the game played on Tuesday, September 13, 1966 at Astrodome between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Houston Astros.

Rick Ferrell was a HOF catcher who was long retired at that point. Turk Farrell was the pitcher the hit ball you have came off of.

Can I ask what provenance do you have that comes with this?

Unfortunately, I do not have provenance or any type of paperwork that goes with the ball. I can tell you that I purchased it a couple of years ago from a longtime Pirates memorabilia collector from Sewickley, PA. The baseball had writing on the ball when I purchased it. I do not know who wrote on the ball, but it states that it was hit by Clemente, and pitched by Turek Farrell. The word "ASTRODOME" is written on the ball as well. Also, Warren Giles is the president on the baseball.

          Thanks!
